Hello Fellow Corvetters,
Well all, another year of our meetings is quickly coming to a close. It's been an interesting year and very full of activities. If you didn't get your fill this year...I think you were somewhere else!
As you know, this club doesn't function without it's member's support. Our club has the highest per-capita participation in events than any other club in the region and that's quite impressive for our number of members. It's getting to be time to pull together our volunteer committees for next year and if you've ever wanted to get involved, now's the time to speak up.
We have many volunteer positions that need you. Your enjoyment of the club will go up significantly with any participation in the committees, so give it some thought. When I started in the club 10 years ago, I never had so much fun as I did planning and putting on the events! It's still that way now...and you'll find the same thing.
The upcoming October meeting is very important...it's time for yearly dues. Bring your checkbooks! It's also time for elections and we'll be voting at the meeting. Show up and vote or contact me for a mail-in ballot.
Hope to see you all there.
Well, the season is pretty much over. Just a handful of events remain for the year..
Planning for the Sno Big Deal Show is coming along, but your help is needed to make the event a success. We still need to determine what we're going to do this year though.
Membership renewals are due at this meeting, so don't forget to bring your checkbook along for the ride. Where else can you get so much fun for your money.
Don't forget that club officer elections are being held at the October meeting too. It might be in your best interests to make it to the meeting lest you wind up finding yourself elected to a position in your absence! I don't think it's ever happened before, but there are first times for everything!
I hope to see every ones smiling faces at the meeting Thursday night!

It was a beautiful day for a drive and several of us met for a quick drive up I-25.
There were at least 50 cars of all sorts present an the school was very appreciative of
all of the attendees. None of us too home a trophy, but we all hod a good time.
What a great time!
Mike and Mary Kay, Dave and Nancy and Pat an I all took the drive down to Pueblo for a camping expedition at the Shoemaker's southern retreat. The Sloppers and pot-luck dinner were worth the trip and the camping was quite an experience. We'll try to do this again, but with a better air mattress.
